I’ve been passionate about first aid since the age of 16, when I qualified as a lifeguard and began what would become a 19-year career in the leisure industry. During that time, I encountered a wide variety of first aid situations, each one reinforcing the importance of being prepared and confident to act.

Although I once dreamed of becoming a paramedic, self-doubt held me back. By the time I found the confidence, my career had taken a different direction — but my determination to help people never faded.

As a Lifeguard and First Aid Trainer, I’ve had the privilege of teaching my colleagues and in schools, nurseries, colleges, community groups, and businesses — equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency. It has been both fun and deeply rewarding, but I know there is still more to do.

I believe first aid should be accessible, affordable, and inclusive for everyone. My goal is to provide safe, engaging training that gives people the essential skills to step forward and save a life when it matters most.
